For more than half the game, the Flyers were the team in control. Unfortunately, the one goal lead they established in the first thirty minutes was quickly dashed away by the Senators in the next thirty.

Remember back in the old NBA days where stars wanted to compete against one another and not join forces for the sole purpose to win a ring? I am talking about back in the days of Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. These guys did not want to play together and dominate the NBA for years to come, they wanted to battle it out and compete against each other.

Bartulis possibly out for season

When Oskars Bartulis clutched his arm in pain following his dangerous collision with the boards Tuesday night, it seemed apparent that he wouldn’t return for the rest of the night.

But now it seems he may not return for the rest of the season.

That’s pretty much the summation of a Temple Owls’ trip to Cameron Indoor Stadium, which resulted in 78-61 drubbing at the hands of #1 ranked Duke.
