Flyers viewing parties shutout at Wachovia Center

The Game 7 viewing party at the Wachovia Center looked almost like a home game.

The Philadelphia Flyers Eastern Conference Finals shutouts in games 1 and 2 against the Montreal Canadians were bittersweet.

Games 3 and 4 Wachovia Center viewing party shutouts are just, well bitter.

The Flyers will not be holding viewing parties at the Wachovia Center for the next two games when the series heads up to the great white north.

The organization is however encouraging fans to join staff and team Alumni for free viewing parties at select P.J. Whelihan’s and Chickie’s and Pete’s restaurants in the Philadelphia Area.

Easy all you free loaders out there, just the viewing is free brews and burgers are not on the house.

So come all ye orange crush faithful! Bring your beards and your personalized jersey that reflect NHL hopeful broken spirits and support the real pros as the Fly guys look to continue it’s current shutout streak and give Canada some Olympic payback.

I want my viewing party back at the Wachovia Center. If you agree email the Flyers customer service at: flyersservice@comcast-spectacor.com I do NOT want to go to some over crowded bar unless of course they will let me tailgate in their parking lot 4 hours before game time.

Unbelievable….Flyers have made come-back history and the Wachovia shuts out the fans! pressure from local bars perhaps?

I agree June either that and/or greedy NBC. Can we get a High Hopes investigative reporter on this?

  4. I put a call into the PR department, I’ll let you know if I hear back.
