GAME CHAT: Phils look to rebound against rival Mets

The Phillies are set to take on the Mets in game two of their three game set at Citizens Bank Park today.  The Phils will look to rebound after last night’s poor start from Chan Ho Park.

Carlos Ruiz will be back in the lineup today for the first time after straining his oblique in Colorado, April 11.  Chase Utley will have the day off.  Here’s the rest of the Phils’ lineup:

  1. Shane Victorino CF
  2. Raul Ibanez LF
  3. Jayson Werth RF
  4. Ryan Howard 1B
  5. Jimmy Rollins SS
  6. Pedro Feliz 3B
  7. Eric Bruntlett 2B
  8. Carlos Ruiz C
  9. Jamie Moyer P

The Phillies will look for another stellar outing from Moyer (3-1), who’s coming off his best start of the year last week in Miami.  The Mets will counter with Oliver Perez (1-2), who’s known to be a Phillie killer but is struggling this season.  Here’s a closer look at the pitching match-ups with these graphics courtesy of Long Drive: A Phillies Blog:
